The stream of watermelon flavored soda poured seemingly endlessly into the waiting lizard's mouth below, happily gulping it down as fast as he could. The holding tank above was many times his size, but it hardly seemed to matter, that elastic body easily able to accommodate the incoming volume. His belly and tail were becoming big enough to rival the tank alone, green scales stretched so far that it allowed the fizzy pink liquid inside to be seen right through his walls. In fact, so much of the fruity drink had poured into him that it flooded his entire lower half; tingly, bubbly soda sloshing about even within his legs, feet and toes. It wasn't clear if he was even aware of his bloating form, or how big he might become by the end, given the reservoir above was still well over half full. Though it was fairly clear that he may not care, only focused on containing as much of that watermelon goodness as he possibly could.
Holy damn this one was an experience. Managed to cover a lot of elements I've been meaning to do more with, primarily translucency, but most definitely also soda inflation, which is a really fun concept that unfortunately usually only works super well when said translucency is also involved. Had a ton of fun with it too, and all the little fiddly bits involved when I was making it (never would have though the idea of fizzy toes was something I'd focus on π), but oh dear lord did this one take me a while. Fell into my old habits of extreme precision on this one, and as such probably made the whole process a lot more complex than it really needed to be. Because trust me, you do not wanna see how many layers are in the file for this one.
Still, I'm glad I was able to make good on an idea I actually had a couple months ago for once, that totally wasn't inspired by any actual addictions to certain watermelon sodas, either, no sir ππ¦. I'll definitely be doing more with these concepts in the future, I'll just need to sort out a better way of going about it.
[No alts this time, sorry; definitely thought about it, but the main one already took so long I'd pretty well exhausted my desire to do anymore on it :v]

It's gonna be terrible* (read: fantastic) once he managed to get himself on his feet, try to take a step, and let all that bubbly carbonation go to his head. God damn it, though, he's gonna fill the room before he finishes, and it'll be a treat watching every inch of that squeaky stretch.
So, how many empty bottles of Crush did you have to clean up after you finished?
