Yes, he got approved as an hunter who is great, you are now an grunt who has to understand you know nothing.

The northern Yinglets have naturally flat shell teeth, now anyways. In the past there were some remanence of those that had normal shell teeth. Now you only see babies with sharp shell tooths to help them get free from the eggs. Those fall out shortly after they hatch and the new "normal" tooth grows in it's place.

(Well beyond my things technically not being canon to Val's works) you are correct. Long ago they passed near by a town and absconded with ideas... and a few trinkets. Humans have passed into legends for them. I was going to touch onit a bit, but couldn't fit it in naturally (yet). <^\/^>
