I need to say, I like the "rawr" face on the old one better, but that is mighty cute. :)

As an artistic sidenote, if you can narrow down the aperture on those, I'd love to see his eyes with the same clarity of his nose.

Actually I've been trying to improve on the original upside down pic (the one that's my avatar) but I definitely haven't beaten it yet. I'll give it another shot this weekend :)

You can't improve upon perfection. :) I can't imagine ever doing "better" than the avatar pic, but maybe going derpy instead of mischievous you could find similar success in new territory!

I'm sure you're camera-y enough to know how to fix autofocus on a given point and to crank down the aperture. :) And that you probably know being farther away and zooming in would help reduce "large nose syndrome" and also help with the focal depth, although I do like the crispness and added goofery of close-up distortion.
