Hopefully now that I've drawn this and gotten it out of my system that song will GET OUT OF MY HEAD. It's been stuck in my head for about a week straight now.
It's the new Owl City song written for the movie "Legend of the Guardians" which I am extremely excited for. First off, the animation looks absolutely OUTSTANDING, rivaling Avatar. Plus, having read the books as a kid... and having barn owls be my favorite animal and half of my fursona...... you know.. ;D
anyway, sketched and lined traditionally with my new pens. Colored digitally in Photoshop 7. Please no critiques on the awkward neck angle, its the only thing I liked (i wanted hi head to be facing down-wards for some reason)
I'm really pleased with how the lighting turned out! I tried something different, and I love it.

I like the green tone i this picture. And the placement, font and effects of the text add to mood awesomely. It makes you look at the entire picture as oppose to a single area where the character(s) is. ^^ Great point-of-view angle as well. ^^ And your style is just so. . . .too awesome for words. <3
This is awesome ♥ I love how the background seems to have a fisheye lens/round effect, and you've done reallly well with the green tinge to everything. I might say the different fonts are slightly distracting, but fonts are PBBBBFT
