So last week Harry Bliss's comic strip Bliss showed a panel of two people at a scenic overlook, one saying how it ``Really makes me realize how small you are''. You can see that at https://www.gocomics.com/bliss/2021/12/16 ... and it just felt to me so much like something one of
illogical's characters would say that I had to doodle that. So here's Illas letting a couple know how small they are!
This started as a simple sketch and the it kept accreting detail, including color, so I have to post this before it absorbs all time everywhere.

This looks really adorable! And from what I've seen, it does seem to fit Illas' friendly, sizable nature.
The way Illas' hair-fluff aligns with the mountains at first had me think Illas was as tall as the mountains, too - which, given it's a scenic overlook, could actually the be case. Normally, mountains don't walk up to you, smile, and appreciate your smallness, though :)

Thank you, glad that you like it.
The hair-fluff aligning with the mountains, and the mountains using the same colors as Illas (hair and clothes) was a choice made with some thought, so that he and the landscape would look more alike. (If I were being more authentic I'd have mixed the landscape to be a touch softer and more blue.)
Of course, Illas is hard to draw because he's always a bit larger than the page.
