Left to right: Ghost, Gwendy Plumby, and Price the Raven
After watching Book 3 of Infinity Train, reading Gwendy & Ghost made me think "Ghost would be an excellent denizen on the Infinity Train." Then the sketch previews for the update that released on September 27, 2020 got me to imagine Gwendy venting about her mother.
"Why am I feeling sorry for something that wasn't my fault?! She's the one who chose to have me and Gilly! Every bad thing that happened in her adult life that I know of happened because of her choices!"
I started to remember how frustrated Tulip would get during Book 1 of Infinity Train. Then I thought about how Gwendy & Ghost serves as a coping mechanism for the author's trauma and decided to draw this piece, basing it on the Infinitysonas I've seen across social media. I based Ghost and Gwendy's poses on concept art of them from 2015. Price is named after the Price Family that was introduced in Episodes 6 and 7 of Gwendy & Ghost. I made her a talking raven because it fit the Price's witch theme. Just like the first time I brought these series together, the digits in the number have a specific meaning.
2 and 5: The story has two leads, one of which is five years old at the start of the story. Also, the comic started its run in 2016, the year its creator turned twenty-five, and is planned to have twenty-five episodes.
4: April, the month the comic started its run, is the fourth month of the year. In addition, based on some now-deleted Tweets, it appears the comic's episodes are going to be divided into four chapters, each one featuring Gwendy at a different age.
