Watercolor/gouache/acrylic painting commission auction won by fafnir kristensen [sp?]. This was really challenging for me, as I haven't done an 11x14 painting in a long while, and I wanted to make it good... so.. I pulled out some diagonals and researched tea houses and the tea ceremony and all that. Tried to put as much japanese traditional stuff in it as possible. I had some issues... but i think it came out ok. i was disappointed in the calligraphy though. I've been writing japanese characters on and off since i was 12 so i figured they'd come out better than that :/
