A Christmas To Remember (Animated Version!)(Story Include...
This post is the same as the previous post, but animated!
It was a cold, snowy Christmas Eve. Rex was finally coming home from a tiring day at work. He knew Alexandra, his second girlfriend and third to his group of three lovers was not going to be there to celebrate, as she was going to be with her family. However, what made Rex rather saddened was the thought that his second, Adamina, wasn’t going to be there either. It was saddening to think that Rex was going to spend another Christmas by himself, but at the same time, Rex couldn’t really blame Ada and Alexa for wishing to spend their Christmas with their families. Especially Alexa, who gets in red homesick this time of year. ‘I would spend my Christmas with one of, if not, both of their families, but I wouldn’t want to be a burden to them,’ Rex would think to himself. ‘Besides, if it makes them happy, then I’ll be okay.’
Unlocking the door, Rex stepped inside his apartment. The place was decorated perfectly for Christmas. Colorful lights hung everywhere, fake candy canes were hanging from the walls, and three stockings hung up over the apartment’s fireplace. The crowning jewel, so to speak, was a tall Christmas tree, decorated with various different types of decorations. From Christmas bulbs, to video game decorations (Alexa’s favorite), to fake gems of various colors and shapes (Ada’s favorites), to the beautiful star atop the tree, and to top it all off, a beautiful wrapping of lights spiraling around the tree. The entire apartment simply screamed Christmas. There were already candies and other sweets held within the three stockings, and a pile of presents beneath the Christmas Tree. This was a tradition for the three to stock the stockings and wrap presents for each other to celebrate and open when Ada and Alexa were back from their families houses.
Taking off his shoes and work clothes, Rex put on his pajamas that he had laying out on a chair. He stretched and yawned a bit, wanting to sit down for a while and finally relax. It was then that he noticed a letter on the coffee table next to his chair. It was specially wrapped in a very Christmas themed paper. On the front of the letter, it read; ‘To: Rex, From: Your special Misses Claus.’ Curious, Rex opened the wrapping, being careful not to tear the paper around the letter. The letter was written in fine cursive handwriting, a specific handwriting that Rex knew was the same handwriting of Adamina. Specifically the same handwriting Ada used when she was trying to be more, as she liked to call it, ‘Sophisticated.’ The letter was rather straightforward. It gave Rex directions to head to his bedroom for a ‘Christmas Suprise.’
Having nothing better to do, and always one to love surprises, Rex decided to follow the letter’s advice. Heading upstairs, Rex opened the door to his bedroom. The lights were on, and what Rex found was certainly quite the surprise. He found Adamina sitting on his bed, dressed up in her best winter pajamas and wrapped in Christmas lights. Being pregnant, she looked absolutely adorable and unbelievably gorgeous with the lights shining around her.
“Surprise! Merry Christmas hun!” Ada exclaimed. Rex was ecstatic and nearly at a loss for words! “A-Ada! Whatever reason you doing here? I thought you would be with your family by now!” Ada smiled brightly, standing up and giving Rex a big and very warm hug. “I figured this year I’d surprise you with being here for you this year! I even did my makeup and everything to look my best for when you came home!” Rex hugged Ada back with joy. At the same time, he gave Ada a big kiss on her cheek. “Did you like your surprise?” Rex smiled brightly, holding Adamina gently, but firmly. “It is the best surprise I could’ve gotten this year! I loved it! Thank you so much honeydew!”
Suddenly a familiar voice called out. “Hey Rex! What am I chopped liver?” Rex looked up, ears alert as he noticed Alexa was also there, looking just as beautiful. “You too? But why aren’t either of you with your family?” Alexa joined in on the hug. “Simple, we wanted to spend our Christmas with the one person who gave us a family of our own!” Alexa exclaimed, smiling brightly. “Besides, we didn’t want our favorite zebra to be alone for another Christmas. That just wouldn’t be fair, now would it?”
Adamina, Alexa, and Rex were for the first time in a long time going to be spend their Christmas with each other. Rex was the most happy he’d been all year. “This is truly the best Christmas ever! I love you both!” He gave them both a big kiss, and together, the three spent their entire Christmas like any family would: With each other.
