Not being able to erase you can only move forward in time. I don't know why I choose to draw that way, yet here you have it.

I kinda enjoy drawing without being able to erase.
I like that everything I do is permanent and I have to accept it as it is. It means there's no such thing as mistakes. Erasing inherently means you made a mistake, which is demoralizing.
Drawing in a non-erasable medium I can only keep adding to the drawing in order to make it better. It's a better experience overall because you are always moving forward, whether it's towards good or bad, it's progress and it feels nice.

That's exactly how I feel about it. Even if it turns out that you lose the dream of what you had when you started you fought for it as best you could and learn even so. I think one of the reasons my attempts at writing failed was because I was too focused on what seemed right at the time and an obsession with fixing what seemed to me to be wrong. Second guesses lead to ever more doubt, and then it would all collapse.
