I'm not dead! Just recovering. There have been a lot of setbacks. Most recently, my surgery that was supposed to be a one-and-done deal has turned into three appointments after being mildly bungled. Nothing serious, just really stressful, and an absurd amount of pills.
Regardless, I'm not letting it get me down, and I'm just taking things day by day! Time is passing at a very weird rate over here (again, absurd amount of pills) so I was really feeling this Ian comic while I made it; I also had fun with colors here, thanks to my friend Lutzbug for inspiring me with a palette for the first two panels!

Luckily I wasn't harmed when the surgery went wrong. I'm honestly not entirely clear on why they had to stop, because they explained it to me literally immediately after disconnecting me from the general anesthesia drip! And then they didn't write it down for me or anything, so... who even knows what's going on, man, they seem to be very casual about it so I'm not going to worry :')

UGH so basically what is going on right now is we had a plumbing emergency and have had to rip out the entire bathroom and redo it from scratch?!!? So imagine all of the complications that come with that, including not having a shower for like... a month... and having to go to the neighbor's house to shower... and also black mold coming out of the ripped-up flooring and making me feel sick... and also just straight up not having running water today because the plumbers broke a pipe "haha" "lmao"
I've been so stressed out about this at times that I've gotten migraines and had to throw up, which REALLY sucks when you have limited bathroom access :(
