All season long, I was waitin' to face off against B-Hahp in the finals, and the Thrust were doin awesome. But they lost to the Bikers in the West Coast Finals when Hahps hurt his ankle and went down hard.
Man, when the Taproots got into the Finals, I swore I'd win the Championship for Hahps. He's my biggest rival, sure. He has been since we were kids at that inner city b-ball camp we went to back in the day. But he's also my best friend. I dedicated that whole game to him.
But we lost and lost hard. The Bikers were all over us. We only got one win.
No big deal, right? It's just a game. A game that we lost.....but a game.
But....it was a game where I failed to do what I vowed to do for my best friend.
I'm sorry, B-Hahp.
