A wonderful work of art cannot start without wonderful lines. And this good Sir is just the beginning. I am sorry to hear you are heading south and off to college at the same time as RainFurrest. I would have enjoyed meeting you if you had the chance to attend. Try not to take too many art classes in the future. They can sometimes make you loose your own sence of style. I would not want that to happen. What you do has a style and "feeling" that is unique. I would hate to see you loose that.
I wish you well. }:=)

I posted this on Alectorfencer's page and I want to share this with you as well. There is so much depth and feeling here....

I think I really like the original direction of the lineart as much, or more, than the colored piece. The dilapidated house seems to be more open to the world beyond it, with the crumbling walls and the more pronounced pool of water coming through the door (my favorite part that is understated or missing altogether in the colored piece). I think this version feels more comforting, while the colored feels more secretive. Both fantastic art pieces, but you know how much I love your pencil work. :)
