Depends if anything was on at the time it went into the river. So long as it is dried out thoroughly before switching anything electrical on it should be fine.

And I'm looking forward to seeing what FIAT does with Chrysler... But I see no reason to bash any of them.. Loyal or not.. I've owned pre and post Ford Volvo's , I got a Ford and a Mercury Now, and Ride a Yamaha, cause well I'd never ride a Harley, so yeah not exactly American Loyal, I've never been in love with an American bike .... ever... I'm sure Jim'll back me up on that one.... ok Maybe the Millennium bike but that's an APU powered 200+ MPH Bike... so yeah.. anyhow.. no, Not an American brand loyal slave, but yeah, I see Toyota's doing well... you know... recalling..... 1/2 their fleet for shoddy work.. They sorta went the way of Sony... Awesome stuff back in the day, and now that they have an established name.. they don't care as much..

I swam to the shore (about 2 miles down river) but poor old Freida who couldn't swim sank like a rock to the bottom of the Rhine about 5 KL from the town of Baden Baden Germany where she now sleeps with the fishes.
I still have nightmares of her crying out "Sie Bastard! I'm hier wegen Ihrer dummen Abkürzungen Sie Sohn - von - a - Weibchen! I' m, das kommt, Sie eines Tages zu erhalten, selbst wenn es mir dreißig Jahre dauert!" What ever the hell that means.
