Silvia is hot, but she's also annoying, controlling, and sticks guns in Joe's face. If the movie theatre is the one place Joe has dominance over her, then I say let him have it. Sheesh, he saves her life and she won't even let him fly one UFO...

Joe's also a jerk who ignores her needs. Her very physical needs. If nothing else,he should have fucked her before the movie to ensure she wouldn't need it during. And he wasn't exactly in a hurry to rescue her. :p There are also several points in the anime where he acted weird.

For example,Joe and Sylvia kiss. Seems alright til someone yells cut and they stop cause it was only a scene.

Joe and Sylvia go in to kiss. Joe uses his slow powers BEFORE he kisses her and uses zoom on her mouth. Why? I'd slow WHILE we were kissing. Make that shit last. And then he sees something in her teeth. Some green thing from lunch. His reaction? To cower in fear,pushing her away. My reaction? "You got something in your teeth. Let me get that for you." And then the face sucking commences!

Finally,there's the creepy dad scene. Captain Blue is Sylvia's dad. During one little extra,they were showing off the zoom power. Which Captain Blue used to look up Sylvia's skirt. Joe reacted to this by beating Blue up. Think about that,her DAD shows more sexual interest in her than Joe does. And that just ain't right.

And,besides all else,you can fuck and watch a movie at the same time. I mean honestly,I could totally see myself doing Sylvia bent over some seats while we both cheer on the "hero" of the movie. Tell me what movie geek wouldn't LOVE to do that. :p I'll tell ya',a GAY one.

I can't believe I actually replied to this stupid-ass perv comment. Ugh. Look, if you really wanna get laid so badly that you have need to call fictional characters gay because they don't hit the respective(and usually annoying) piece of tail they're attatched to, then go do it. Seriously.

Actually,if he's not interested,why's he even attached to her at all? And this isn't about getting laid,this is about he's literally pushing her away and showing little interest in her. So what,exactly,is the reason he stays with her? It makes no sense. If you're not hitting it and it's "annoying",why even have it at all?

Resistance and a general lack of concern all around. If it's enough to get people to say Sonic,He-Man,and every male lead Final Fantasy character is gay,it's enough for Joe to be too. :p

I really wish they hadn't made Silvia a playable character in the second game, she was SO annoying and just about the only thing that made it a step under the first game ;_;

Honestly there's only one part of the game I actually choose to use her, and it's only because she's faster than Joe.

What are you talking about? She kills most enemies faster,doesn't have to work around that dodge crap,and makes tons of cash. Have you even TRIED to work with Sylvia? She rocks. Hard.

I've tried, but since her pathetic little gunshot doesn't add to Rock-on combos, I find it much easier to use Joe's ability to kick one guy and punch the guy behind him to really build that up. The fact that Silvia's power is solely in her kicks(they're the only thing that actually activates Replay, sheesh, which isn't worth the energy it costs) makes her less useful than Joe is in a scrap. Sure, at first, her speed makes her a good choice to get around fast, but once Joe gets Mach Speed, the only real times she comes in handy is when he needs to get into the girl's bathroom, places where there's way too much electricity(and that never happens as far as I know), on certain puzzles, and the first part of the Dark Hero fight.
Sure, her Zoom hip attack is admittedly fun to watch, but it's way too slow to be useful against tougher enemies. I think I went through a whole level just to see all her Sexy Forever poses, and her little Sailor Moon transformation for boss fights, and I remember it being a huge pain.

You do realize her shots A) get bigger when you use slow motion and B) gain power over distance,right? Granted,Replay sucks because no one attack from Sylvia really offers up alot of damage even when tripled. But she does excel at rapid fire and sustained damage as while the Slow helps,she doesn't need to chip away at someone. Also,Desperado is a great way to increase her air time.

Bottom line,if you try to play Sylvia like Joe,she's gonna suck. You play her like a gun wielding psycho and she'll easily prove her worth against just about anything. I've played through VJ2 using mostly Sylvia,only using Joe when I needed Mach Speed to get through a puzzle. Which wasn't often. :p

I guess all that really means is that it doesn't really matter who you prefer to use. If you can stand to do it, then more power to you.
