A while back xaotherion
posted a picture https://www.furaffinity.net/view/42417799/ and I asked if I could have the file to try to print it. They actually agreed to let me try and this is the result. It took quite a while as this silly file kept crashing my computer. I'd get it ready to save a repaired file and it would crash, I'd get past that and my slicer program would crash. At the same time other intense programs would crash as well. OMG my video card was dying.. this is horrible as video cards are now rare and expensive in this economy. I actually ended up underclocking my video card just so I could use it.
Anyway, I managed to get the machine stable enough to finally get this printed. She is rather tiny but I think it printed quite well. The hair was a little messed up on the left side (not really visible) but that was a support fault.

Ah, I've been away for too long again...
Great to see how this turned out, but sorry to hear about the difficulties. I suspect this was my fault, with the file not being "sanitized" properly for the printing usage. I read a (very) little bit in the meantime and it appears I should have unified the model, checked that it's "watertight" and reduced the polycount. All before it would be loaded into any printing-related software.
Looks like everything was printed in one go? I wonder what are the exact dimensions and how long the printing process itself took.
