Gospel: the good news of Salvation



They way to understand the Bible is with the Bible itself.


This frase was confusing at the beggining for me. But It is not so difficult once you take it literally by parts. Using Bible verses to understand other Bible verse and viceverse.


This is a very useful to undesrtand the Bible. And God will show truths that he means through it too.


This is something that, I dare to say, is unique of the Bible. Wich is the reason why it is not wrong to callled the Word of God.


For the many people think the KJB has contradictions, or it is confusion, I think this would really help to show that there are no contradiction. To the KJB atleast for all I know.


I have sometimes problems with understanding something if i read it just one time. I have to read it a second time to get it right. or more.


And I have that tendency


What people should do to understand the Word of God is to use it in context.


Some Verses are clear about it, alone but if you one verse appers to you contradictionary, you have to read it out of context.


When I had my doubt about salvation, wich I had. and sometimes i do. I will not deny it. Is that by reading verses with the same word, and reading them in context God's will in regard to salvation the truth he wanted to show me was revealed to me.


The verses that speak about how to be saved is so simple that by many pastors is overlooked.


Believe on Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved.


And many believe that the salvation is work based on our side. They only get it HALF right. It is work based. But not on our side. It is on God side.


Faith without works is death.


Faith with works is alive


That Bible verse is so true. But is is OUR faith and OUR works, or is it OUR faith and HIS works?


Faith cometh by hearing and the hearing from the word of God(AKA the Bible )


Many think that in Matthew 19 is it writen how to be saved, by what the young rich men asked about how to inherintet eternal life.


But in reality it is writen when one of his disciples asked.


Matthew 19:25,26

25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?


26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.




Jesus did not show a secuence of acts that someone must do to be saved. He did use the young rich man as an example of people that try to buy their entrance to heaven wich is imposible.


And many believe that they MUST live right to be saved.


James 2:10 says that if you sin once you are responsible of breaking the whole law.


That denies every posiblilty of our own effort to be saved. And God loved us so much that he decided to come to this world to die for our sins, rather that to see us in hell.


Because it is not possible for us to earn salvation.


That is why Salvation is by grace. It is an undeserving favor. Only God has payed the price for our transgressions.


Not us.


If someone says he offers you a gift and you have to pay for it, then it is not a gift it is an exchange.


Our only option to be saved is to Believe The Gospel, to believe Jesus, To believe God.


Not the mere existence, but the Fact that they are true statments And God WILL keep his word. That he does what he says and he says what he does.


In the old testamet the book Isaiah speaks about Jesus coming and what one has to do to be saved.


I have not readed the full BIble yet but I fell that if I dont speek about this Point, THAT I really have searched for answers in the Bible, I see I have the Responsability To make it easier for our so that others can be saved to. That could include the person reading this article.


And I write this because if I dont, I feel I will regret it later.

Now the point that is really key here t.

What IS the Gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 makes it clear.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

This part is the one that speaks of what the Gospel

It was necesary that Jesus Had to pay the price for our sins.

And it could not be just by simply dying. It was a proces.

Jesus Had to die on the cross, be buried and arise from the death.

And he ascented to heaven to aply the blood on the holy place. To pay

That is why Christ is also known as the Lamb of God.

The Sacrifice that would be the payment for our sins once and for all.

So the way to be saved is made simple for us. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins on the cross, was buried, and rose again for our salvation.

Easy just believe, that and you are saved.

No church, no religion, no good works.

Just believe the Gospel.

The worst pain that I can imagen that even haunts me sometimes is not having used all oportunitys one had to help someone else to recieve this gift of Eternal Life.

Because that scars are for ever.

I am not perfect, I strugle, I fall, but with Jesus Christ I will get up again, and in this life it is not only for our self that we get up, we get up for God , for our love ones for, our friends, whether they are close, or are far.
