Happy Frithmas to you all! Thought about how sweet those lighted lawn decorations look, and thought I'd try and get in on that action myself. And here we are!

This turned out better than I expected, thanks to a ProCreate paintbrush that's supposed to give the impression of a light burning a bit into the camera.

I fully expected the 'mesh' wiring to be an impossibly difficult thing to draw. And it was a fresh challenge, certainly. But all that time I spent as a mathematics major dealing with contour maps, and then in grad school looking at separatrixes, paid off as I could kind of work out where the lines should go. Not sure I could do a more dynamic pose, but the basic pose turned out way better than I had rights to expect.

Also for the first time I set the default background color to something besides just 'white'.

(Not sure this really counts as a 'transformation' picture. Maybe 'transmutation', but that's not a theme. 'Object' neither.)
