Typewriter for xmas
Okay..but before I lean on my own toes with my ass, hear me out:
•I’ve always wanted one;
•The sound and tactile sensations really manages to soothe the cagey and anxious sensibilities of the autistic beast within me;
•And finally, if I treat writing as more of an occasion—especially as an occasion that focuses on precision of thought equally as much as the precision of those thoughts within the confines of the paper itself—the idea being that I will be more likely to sit down and behave like the author I pretend to be.
.
The digital age is all well and good, but extant physical copies of my work, be it art or written word, is just sublime compared to a digital copy of my work.
The physical creation of something has always been something that I can grok.
But who knows? Maybe NFTs might change my stance on the issue in the years to come. I’ve had more than a few people remark on my 2021 art as having strong NFT-vibes.
This shit is so satisfying, you have no idea.

I can certainly agree, it reminds me of when I draw with simply a pen and paper, the scratching of the paper, inking with a ballpoint pen, that stuff is relaxing, not to mention the end product! I've always thought I'm better at art when I draw traditionally, as opposed to digitally, though it is great for what I need on bigger projects, sometimes the older method is the most fun~
