Every morning our big cat comes into the bedroom and tries to cute us awake with rolling on his back and trilling. I always thought he would make a pro snow angel if we lived up north.

I'd done a few sketches of him to try and base a drawing off of, but unfortunately his physique is a little sub prime. He is a fat bag of pudding in a cat suit. His pure and utter faith in gravity is astounding to me.

Anyways, like most of my projects this one got put on a back shelf. Then I ran across some great photos by sooper and finally got myself a decent reference for a kitty! This cat has things like a torso and elbows, which our baby is sadly lacking. And snowy owl talons always looked like paws to me.
