its still not a real driver's car

What would be a real drivers car in your opinion? Remember this car was intended to be fast, agile, cheap (relative other super cars)

something without a computer to do 80% of the driving for the driver.. something that if you screw up the car cant help you. I feel the same way about the Evo. a ballzy driver's car would be something like a TVR. No anti lock breaks, No traction control, No airbags really. No stability control. or cars that dont have a fancy computer system to make it drive fast and quick.

I fully agree with you on this, but times are changing. A computer can make a novice driver seem like a competent driver(to a point). When I autoX I turn off tcs and I absolutely hate the abs that is on my car. I would like a car that can do the things that this car can do w/o a computer controlling it but I don't see that possible w/o paying far more than a GT-r is worth.

you can buy a TVR for less than those GT-R's I've always wanted something like a Caterham 7, or an old Lotus europa. something built for the drive. without fancy electronics.

I definitely respect this opinion. I used to hate all this electronic jib jab but its starting to grow on me. Guess I'm just one of them darn kids that likes newer tech.

I love newer tech, I upgraded form a FWD 08 Lancer to an AWD subaru impreza hatchback. i love that extra control in the rain that i have, I've fishtailed it on purpose because as soon as i let off the gas it corrects itself almost immediately. I just really feel that a car should be driven by the driver, not by the car.

still obsessive over your car?

Yes and no. I want to sell it so I don't want anything minor to happen to it... I would be happy to see it stolen and driven off a cliff though because insurance totaling it would probably get me more money than selling it at this point(plus if its not my fault no increase in premiums :3). People don't like noisy exhaust systems anymore :(

I rode in one of these a couple nights ago too! I've NEVER felt anything like that before!

heh I love a good exotic, but my preference is older muscle cars. It's easier to fix/modify.

True. I'd likely use fiberglass or something like that to lighten it up.

Fiberglass is soooo 50's-90's. Carbon fiber/kevlar is where it's at now :P
