See...I've this crushing love of traditional art media. I really enjoy different forms of it, be it drawing, painting, sculpting, knitting, quilting, sewing or even something so bizarre as canning food in visually appealing ways.
A favorite artist of mine posted a journal about traditional media going "out of style" as it doesn't seem to be the chic thing anymore. I tend to disagree I guess but I just can never decide what media to use the most...I also rarely bring this kind of attention to real world anatomy, proportion or mark making to my furry art. Which is kind of depressing when you think about it. I'm sort of tempted to do real world studies of my beasties now, and maybe apply some real world tools to the furries I've been doodling.
It certainly feels like I've a more skilled hand with traditional media than I do with digital...
