Yeh, the Name-Thing is a funny one. I have damn issues to find names I'm happy with xD
Sometimes you have a Name that sounds good, but does not fit the Character. Sometimes you have a Name that may fit the Character, but you don't like it.
And out of a sudden... I had a 3-Name-Combination that not only sounds great but also has some funny coincidences (like last letter is the first of the next word). That was absolutely unintended and I just noticed it afterwards.
And now, all my Characters will have a 3-Name-Combination that has to fit them. :)

Yea, I had a good time discovering the name for my own dragon too. I literally went through fantasy names from Middle Earth, old Welsh, old Norse, old Germanic...
Until I finally came up with one with the help of a Danish friend, who helped me find a proper translation to 'Shadow Wing' and I came up with Skadvang. Fully version is actually Skadovaengr buuuuut you might be able to see why I changed it xD. Imagine how often I'd have to explain how to say it to people!
It's not his only name btw, but I'm still coming up with the others.
