Pose Testing in the Art Room
Couldn't sleep after waking up at 4AM, so I did my weekly "put-on-my-fursuit-to-build-endurance-and-character" routine per usual. Now that I'm done with the sewing/maintenance stuff, my attention is all on how I'll be bringing Flan to life come MFM time!
They're not really a cutesy/cuddly kind of hare, so I've been at a loss on how to best interact with other people/fursuiters. I think I have the silent suiting down (I'm on the spectrum and usually mute irl anyways) and I have some experience doing mascot acting (BIG expressions!), so it's not like I'm throwing myself in the deep end or anything. But I am still curious as to what other fursuiters on here tend to do at cons when being adorable isn't their thing, y'know?
Will probably take even more of these when I go outside on Sunday; I was gifted an ice vest for Christmas and it has been a GODSEND. :'V

I heard that it's best to start at a small convention/meetup first to kind of get a feel for things, and that's actually what I'm about to do this Saturday ^^ We have a small, one-day cosplay convention where I live and I went ahead and registered for it, wish me luck!!

Ahh I know you'll do great!! My fursona is literally just "me," so I can kinda relate to what you're going through - try not to worry too much, remember that having fun and experimenting (along with staying safe!) is most important. I hope you have a blast!! ^.=.^ <3
