...and also there are mushrooms for some reason.
So, I did this a while ago, and that was neat. Then just recently it occurred to me that I could probably do something similar in 3D, and I thought that might be neat too. Had no plans, but it was rolling around in my mind a bit. Then today I happened across a random video completely out of nowhere on Youtube that showed an artist using photoshop to make similar things and I just took that as a sign and gave it a shot.
Honestly, I couldn't make it look quite as good as I'd hoped to be able to, couldn't quite pull the idea together. Oh well, at least I got the idea out of my brain and now I can focus on other stuff. Even though it's not all that good, I hope some of y'all enjoy my sleepy gryph.

I feel like it could use just a little bit of light on the front to bump up the shadows. Or just some post processing. Throwing it into the Photoshop Camera Raw Filter and just pressing "auto" with some additional contrast adjustment gave basically what I imagined, even if it's not the sort of authentic night look anymore.
