the design of the robotics is brilliant in and of itself (such as the muscle-like joints in the wings) but just how great
the design itself fits the character in size and shape as well.

I really like how it came out, it fits really well for stylish high-tech stuff. Although i guess it helps that the underlying mech design is already great and has a nice flow/curves/form/whatever :P

The only thing recently that could match Ghost in the Shell was the Deus Ex reboot, and finding design pics of those productions is hard.
