Well, this is a more experimental piece of mine, featuring a new kind of species. An Exoceni!

The basis for doing this steps from deciding I'd go for something more simple to draw, that way I can both speed up my own drawing process, and drop some of my perfectionism (I often tend to draw line sketches for hours on end before I actually start progressing further! Taking inspiration from Pokemon such as Snivy, and asking for some random ideas and suggestions, I opted for a Friendly Space Skaven. AKA, a space mouse/ferret with a katana tail just because and a jetpack. After getting a realtively flat sketched put together, I started working on a more 3D drawing, and liked the way it came out. So I decided to get experiment and decided to draw a space background for good measure, something that I've always struggled with (stars especially). It's not brilliant, but I do like the overall result that I managed to get within a week/a few hours.

As for the Exoceni species as a whole, I'm not kidding about them being Friendly Space Skaven. They are proper engineers, but also major kleptomaniacs and different teams can fight each other for the dumbest of reasons, such as their colour teams ala RvB or pizza. Luckily, they are cuter and alot more friendly than Skaven.

And yes, they are real fans of pizza. They must have the Pizza.
