My mother's dog, Murdoch, recently went through a foreign obstruction removal surgery. Don't recommend it as a Christmas gift, lmao. We were not entirely sure he was going to make it, but thankfully, we caught it before he became septic (although it required a resegmenting of the lower intestine), and he was able to pull through. He's still recovering and regaining weight, but he's doing much better now, and is quite lively and active two weeks post-surgery!

I decided to make my mother this painting for Christmas. So, no; this isn't a deceased pet portrait, thankfully. He's doing just fine, but I wanted my mother to have something to make her feel better!
