Thanks! ^^ He's my boy. I had a bit of trouble deciding between Husky, Malamute, and G. Shep too. :p Ultimately my mind was made up by the fact that the AKC Husky breeder lived closer (south of Iowa City, about 3.5 hrs away) than any of the others and they were very fair in the price department. He's obviously worth millions...well actually he's priceless, to me anyway...but I only paid $500 and he's fully registered through AKC. :)
Awesome. He is so pretty (I know I said it before, but I have a weak spot for sled-pulling fluffballs like him) and I want to cuddle him so bad.
I had a wonderful Malamute for my last dog, but he was always overheated except in the harshest winter conditions. He loved snow obviously and used to just dive through it face-first. =)
Cute, cute puppy you got. You are a lucky unicorn.

He does get a little warm in the summer when he has to go outside, but he stays inside with me the rest of the time and my apartment is around 62 in the winter and 70 in the summer. Plus it's a half-basement apartment (basically the bottom floor of a duplex partway underground)and I have a cool linoleum floor with concrete underneath in the kitchen that he can lay on to cool off, although to be honest he prefers laying on my couch or bed. :p I'd say the only time he gets a little hot is at night during the winter because I use a little space-heater in my bedroom when it gets really cold out and it gets pretty warm in there. I can always tell when he starts to get a little warm because he'll jump off my bed and lay down on the floor instead. :p
My Mal always seemed too warm, poor guy. I had a fan for him to hang out in front of when he wanted. He'd get on the bed, but would overheat and have to lay on the floor just like your husky. I took him to visit my folks one Christmas and it was about 4F outside with nearly 2 feet of snow and he went nuts! I think it was the first time he didn't feel too hot. He bounded around happily plowing his face through the snow and dove head-first into the deep drifts. ^^
