I guess you never heard of him, but he is a very-treasured character of my friend Mr. 
long-xiu. This is Pulgasari (or "Bulgasari," if you use the revised transliteration). He was once just an excuse to get a peasant out of trouble from a dictator, then just a rice figure, then one with a heavenly blessing. then a live monster that ate metal and grew. Despite his obvious help in freeing the peasants, his appetite was... troubling.
This is actually part of an art trade I had with Mr. long-xiu. This is his half.
