i'm putting this into my scraps folder due to it being a mashup of a drawing and photo i took.
that, and i do not wish for people to think i've returned to art, this was something of a "heat of the moment" piece, after i had some inspiration to create it.
sometimes, the world feels so far away, that trying to reach out to it appears a hopeless endeavor, as if everything i know is an illusion that only exists to taunt me over the fact my desires are not within my grasp.
family, my friends, school, or even work, all seem to be so distant that they might aswell be miles away from me, shimmering lights in the darkness that i may ever look onward, yet never reach.
i ponder, what it would be like to live amongst the lights, for even a brief time.
