I was lucky enough to get not just a second, but a third chance to photograph a cute pair of mother and baby possums I've seen around here recently (finally had my camera on me this time). Amazingly, they didn't even flinch the half-dozen or so times I used the flash (it was quite dark in the evening). Even as I moved underneath to try for a better angle (this one) they didn't seem to mind.

Perhaps I'd stunned them with blindness on the first flash.

Mum's not going to be able to lug bub around much longer, looking at the size of him.
