Okay so the first time my fiance OddhornLonghorn showed me Mephiles I WAS OBSESSED!!
Not only does his normal form freak me out a little, but damn, what an awesome bad guy.
AND OF COURSE HE TAKES THE FORM OF MY MAIN BOY SHADOW! Oh my gosh, so much love.
I realize his eyes aren't this color in this form, but I wanted them that way so........ LOOKIT THE PRETTY PINK
I think pink and lime green has to be one of my favorite color combos.
Next time I draw him it'll be his normal form. Wanted to warm up with his slightly easier to draw one first lmao

Alrighty, so when I see this? I imagine he is taking shape from his liquid form. So as he’s coming into shape, revealing he is not a “Shadow,” he immediately is targeting someone with his atrention.
Could you imagine how scary that actually is? You think you’re alone, and a hand forms and points accusatorially at you…that is some dark stuff there. Which is just your thing!
Love the watermelon eyes for him. That’s what I am calling them: watermelon eyes. Though hopefully my phone isn’t changing the colors again.
Also, that one tentacle off to the side gives me the creeeps. Like, wow. It’s like he’s showing off how much of an abomination he is.
