I did art!

Yesterday was my birthday! During which  CaitSith and  atlas21 tricked me into actually doing some art this year! Those monsters! This was part of a little art challenge we had to sketch something up in a set time frame. I got a little carried away and ended up liking the pose enough to ink it. I'm currently most of the way through coloring this one, so I'll post that up and move this to scraps when I get it finished. I just really wanted to post something up by the end of the year!

By the way, can you tell I've been watching a ton of Gurren Lagann this week? Gotta love that absurd, over-the-top, unstoppable optimism! Also, those sexy, flashy jackets! Shoulda given him giant, spiky sunglasses...

On a side note: I can't help but notice how many random one-off drawings I've done with Neos perched on a cliff side, looking off into the distance. I feel like there's something symbolic there that I hadn't realized until now...
