This is a piece I'd laid out and finally got around to finishing. Awhile ago I had a series of dreams set in an Anthro MLP dreamscape. It was a sword and sorcery setting. So everything had a 1970s Boris Vallejo, Frank Franzetta, chainmail bikini vibe to it.
The last of the Mane Six I needed to finish was Rainbow Dash. Well now that's done. RD was member of the elite company called the Lightning Strike Archers. These were all pegasus archers who provided the main security over the Royal Palace and the city of Canterlot.

Beautiful in a quasi-barbaric kind of way. I love the fur loincloth with a skull attached. My only concern with a flying horse/pony being an archer would be how would they prevent the arrows from falling out of the quiver. But, I do like the idea. The original ground attack aircraft.
I also meant the arrow on the right side of the bow and the quiver on the hip. But that is good to see too ^.^
Quiver on the back was Hollywood from what I was taught.
Anybody that's tried running and fetching them in action and not just target shooting would see the mess it makes.
