This is My Rifle!
There are Many just like it but this One is Mine!
The Ruger Precision Rifle is a family of bolt-action, detachable box magazine fed, precision Rifles designed and built by the American firearms company Sturm, Ruger & Co. based in Southport, Connecticut. The RPR was released by Ruger in 2015 and quickly gained fame for its high precision and good handling characteristics while staying cheaper than similar rifles of manufacturing quality. The First Genration (Gen I) released in 2015 were available for purchase in .308 Winchester, .243 Winchester, and 6.5mm Creedmoor. Later in 2016 the Gen II was announced with a different handgaurd, remodeled stock, and hybrid muzzles break, available in .308 Winchester, 6mm and 6.5mm Creedmoor, later in 2017 a 5.56x45mm NATO model was announced. The so far latest additions came in 2018 chambered in .300 PRC, .300 Winchester Magnum, and .338 Lapua Magnum. The rifle features a free floating barrel that is easily interchangeable so a person of decent gunsmithing skills and heads pacing gages can switch out worn barrels or have it rechambered to another caliber.. The stock and grip are interchangeable with AR-15 pattern rifles such as the Ruger 556, M16, M4, and HK416, but the trigger and fire control group are proprietary. The Trigger is adjustable from 2.25 to 5 pounds and features a standard AR style safety. This rifle was manufactured in the Gen II series in Newport, New Hampshire in 6.5mm Creedmoor with a 1:8 5R Right hand twist rifling in a 24 inch barrel. The Rifle comes with 2 10 round Magpul Gen III PMags with dust covers, a attachable picatinny rail that can be placed on various locations on the handguard and sling attachment both in MLok attachment system. With the Picatinny Rail on the upper receiver a wide variety of optics can be mounted from iron sights, to red dots, to long range scopes and everything inbetween.
I'm super excited to finally be able to own my own firearm and can't wait to take her to the range when I get the chance. The casing is that of a .50BMG and with MW2 case is used for size reference along with the fact that I finally got the overall highest score on a Team Deathmatch on MW2 for the first time after 13 long painful years since it was released.

Maybe in the future, I bought ot mainly as a piece to start a collection that was nice with some standing to it, unlike the standard typical run of the mill beginner weapons like Ruger 10/22, Mini-14s, etc. Get something that can within its own right be considered a centerpiece
