For centuries, the wasp people were closed off to the rest of the world. Many generations of royalty had a deep disdain for other species, and built towering walls around it's territory to keep people out...and their own people inside. In recent times, there seemed to be an attempt to break this reclusive behavior, as trading routes were opened under the rule of Queen Hakuun, but those coming from outside were under strict rules, and were generally forced to leave quickly. As such, little was known about the city of Jhuda.
As a child, Namina was obsessed with books. While she was generally given books within her own culture, she managed to get her hands on fiction and fantasy books by authors outside of her walls, the majority of them coming in from trading. She found herself far more interested in the world beyond her walls, but her mother, Hakuun, refused to let her explore beyond her own palace. She became enthralled in the worlds within her stories, and hoped one day to explore the world, like the adventurers in her stories would do.
Once Namina was an adult, Hakuun was acting far more hostile towards her own people. Something was bothering her, but she refused to tell anyone, and there was theories among the town people that the Queen was planning an invasion. Namina, feeling independent, wanted to explore the world that her mother refused to let her do. She escaped the confines of her room in the middle of the night and snuck aboard a trading vehicle in order to escape. Her plans seemed innocent enough, after all they would hardly refuse her entry. But little did Namina realize that her actions gave the spark Hakuun needed to start her war.
While on her short journey, she was caught by a couple of silly goblin bandits. The bandits themselves had no weapons and were as intimidating as they were tall, but Namina's unfamiliarity with the world caused her to cave in rather quickly. Before the goblins could check her possessions however, Jessica and Cindy, out on a camping trip, caught wind of what was happening and Cindy promptly kicked the goblin's asses. Realizing she was in over her head, Namina asked to be escorted home, and Cindy agreed to take her back while leaving Jessica to their campsite.
On their way back, Cindy and Namina unfortunately encountered a tribe of birds who thought they were attempting to trespass on their land. They were promptly kidnapped and interrogated by Eva, with Namina crumbling at the slightest touch and revealing who she was: A Princess, information she had chosen to withhold from Cindy. The birds realized that this was going to be a problem, and didn't want the wrath of Jhuda raining down upon them and the rest of the world. But it was already too late.
Avian scouts confirmed a small group of wasps from Jhuda had already begun to make moves, destroying a large portion of the forest and capturing Jessica and the two goblins in the process. Namina was lost and confused about the strange actions of her mother, but Cindy, now with a major stake in this, had a plan. But she would need the help of the birds and Namina herself to guide the way.
Namina, disguised as a trader, would sneak a handful of birds and Cindy into Jhuda during the day, where they would remain hidden until the night. During her travels through the city, she could see many rows of men near the gates, all armed with spears, doing drills. Namina knew of many secret passageways and the plan was to get inside, let Namina try to convince her mother to stop. If that failed however, Cindy and the birds would intervene.
Namina could tell there was something wrong with her mother. Although she was always solitary and remained true to Jhudian traditions, her actions to go to war were unlike her. Hakuun tried to explain that there was no war, and that the men had been sent out to hunt for whoever kidnapped her, but Namina didn't buy it, given the devastation already wrought and the army waiting outside. Furthermore, there was an unfamiliar cloaked individual Cindy had spied near Hakuun's throne, and once Hakuun ordered Namina's execution, Cindy and the birds stepped in, subduing the guards and capturing Hakuun herself. The cloaked figure managed to make a quick escape, it's final words stating that while it was disappointed it couldn't obtain more of what it was after, it was enough for what they wanted, the spell on the Queen would never be broken and the Devils would come for all.
Namina tried to reason with the bound Queen, but she had become overwhelmed with fury, Hakuun vowing to make sure all were executed and that they would bring Hell to the neighboring nations. Given how quickly Namina broke under the bird's interrogation techniques, Cindy proposed an idea that might snap her back to normal, before they get overwhelmed by soldiers once the sun rises.
After much howling, screaming, begging and laughter, Hakuun would pass out, but a red aura would leave her body. Once she came to, Namina tried to talk with her again, this time getting a very different response. The Queen was unaware she had ever planned to go to war, that Namina was missing, or that she was just tortured to break the spell. It was as if several months of her memory was now blank. Namina managed to convince her mother that the outsiders had saved her, and Jessica was returned to Cindy, in a rather exotic outfit. The two goblins were already catapulted out of the city for their insolence, but neither were harmed.
As the weeks passed from the event, Queen Hakuun would open the doors to the world a little more, and allowed Namina to leave the castle walls, with an escort, in order to explore the world like she loved to do. She would meet up with Cindy and Jessica periodically to camp and explore the world, although Namina had a habit of losing their escort and still getting into trouble, only this time on a much minor scale.
As for kinks and similar interests, there's actually very little. She is rather vanilla, though isn't one to exclude the idea of experimentation and rather submissive. She is however extremely ticklish and breaks extremely quickly, which seems to be a trait among a lot of the wasps in Jhuda.
The info dump is pretty much a nutshell of events, if anyone remembers Cindy's Adventures.
Namina was difficult to screw around with, as I wanted something unique and interesting. Angela is the most obvious comparison, even though Namina came first.
Also, a mysterious cloaked figure...I wonder who that might be...
Next in line for a redesign is...well it'll be a surprise. :)
IF YOU DON'T LIKE ANY CHANGES, you are free to say so. But you need to explain WHY you don't like it. Just saying you don't like it does nothing for me.

AAAHhhh it's great to see Namina updated ; v ; she turned out amazingly well! Honestly like, really like her new design a lot ; v ; It's really adorable. I really enjoyed reading through her story fully too, was really interesting to get a summary of some of the things I missed while reading wasn't top on my priority list ovo; She just seems lovely and just wanna show her around ; v ; (Lunea seems like a great individual to meet with her...could show her a separate 'bug' civilization! and they could be cute together! ; v ; fphehe ).
Really good stuff though aaa!

Every time you post one of these, one of your characters moves up in ranking. I absolutely adore Namina and her story! Though tickling the devil out of someone is not something I ever considered possible.
But yeah. She's absolutely adorable, and I'm glad things ended up working out for her in the end. ^^
