Then wait no longer, here you have an answer to a question you never asked and wanted to know the answer to to begin with.
A Sylonvir without their headcover is as good as dead and technicly unable to survive. They do not have eyes like humans do, nor do they share the same vision. They have some kind of bumps on their head, mostly just the front of it. These bumps are a collection of light and nerves, covered by a very thin layer of delicate skin, which covers the entire head. When a Sylonvir falls asleep, the light dims out. Their brain is the most complex and sensitive organ which they possess. Also one of the very few organs they have at all. Which is the reason why it is grown with a heavy and nearly unbreakable material which is similar to petrified wood.
