(It's quite an old drawing, I'm uploading it to that account from DeviantArt. ;d)

I think I made it in April-early May 2018. Generally, this is my first drawing made with a graphic tablet (which I got for my birthday. <3) ​​and for the first attempt it look... I'll tell ya that it's pretty good. :3 And, overmore, it was in 100% made in Paint. Wow... Yeah, I see some abnormalities in the anatomy of this canine, but shhhh~ Do you know how strangely drawing with a graphics tablet in Paint for the first time? xDWell, now a bit about the character and what's going on at all, because that's history, buuuut... now a bit out of date. A beautiful like-dog creature is called Ylva and is not a wolf or something, but a bane, that is, my own spectral species with not very good reputation among other beings. ughh, I hate to translate Polish names of beings into other languages, cause I don't know if they will be good. ;-; They are like creations with a non-physical body (they can materialize, but what for to waste energy and aura and limit themselves with some kind of coating? ;v) that resemble a phantom somewhat. Their, em ... "surface" is usually black or in veeeery dark colors and as though they sparkle at the right angle, like some brocade or something. xd The eyes are white and devoid of pupils. Here, the old version of Ylva has black eyes with a red border. They are white now, as they should be. And she is much slimmer and, emm "angular", as befits a bane. These shadowy ribbons around her appeared under the influence of her soul when she did something not entirely legal... but it was cut from history because it was crappy. ;v

Some additional info about Ylva and spectral species in general, because I can:
-In my universe there are five spectral species: banes, maras (singular: mara), kuses (singular: kus, read: KOOS, I guess), black-headeds (or noir dogs) and vereves (singular: vereve, read: VE-RE-VE, but the "e" is not pronounced as "i". It's "e" like in Evan, or something. xd)
-Ylva is not something like a "wolf's bane". Naturally, the banes are a species in themselves and they do not have shapes like some kind of beings, they are like... such a "cloud", as if it has some characteristics characteristic of itself, but mostly are blurred characters, slightly reminiscent of the figure of a man. Ylva has the shape of a wolf for some reasons, but I don't want to reveal anything, because I plan to write it in a my novel. xD Possibly, if I'm going to make a species sheet then maybe I'll explain~
-Generally, spectral species do not have physical sex, and such a typical social or mental division of a woman or a man also does not fully function in them. And so one day one good web friend asked what pronouns are other beings using when talking with such a bane or mara. And that forced me a lot of thinking. xD But in general, I have concluded that since spectral species don't have physical and mental sex as such, they don't really care about how people turn to them (anyways, they are quite forgiving, because they know some languages ​​do not have a neutral sexual pronoun such as English "they". xD) because it's not for them, goatness knows, what an important issue. ;v For example, in Polish, the pronoun corresponds to the ending of the name, as in the case of Ylva. Ylva - ends with "a" so as a typical female name in Poland, so, according to the principles of inflection, it inflect as a female name. In the English version, you can say "she" or "they". Sometimes you use the plural "you", but it's not so popular and unnecessarily complicated. My friend said she accepts something like that, so alright. xD

Datuję ten rysunek na około kwiecień lub początek maja 2018 roku. Ogólnie to jest to mój pierwszy rysunek wykonany tabletem graficznym (którego dostałam na urodziny. <3) i jak na pierwszą próbę wyszedł... powiem wam, że całkiem nieźle. :3 I jeszcze był zrobiony w 100% w Paincie. Wow... Ta, widzę pewne nieprawidłowości w anatomii tego tego psowatego, ale ćsiii~ Wiecie, jak dziwnie się rysuje tabletem graficznym w Paincie po raz pierwszy? xDNo to teraz trochę o postaci i w ogóle co się dzieje na arcie, bo do tego jest historia, tylkoooo, że... teraz trochę nieaktualna. Piękna psopodobna istota zwie się Ylva i nie jest wilkiem czy coś, ale zmorą, czyli moim własnym gatunkiem spektralnym o nie zbyt dobrej reputacji wśród innych istnień. Są to jakby twory o niematerialnym ciele (potrafią się zmaterializować, ale co po marnować energię i aurę i ograniczać się jakąś powłoką. ;v), nieco przypominają widmo. Ich, em... "powierzchnia" jest z reguły czarna lub w baaaardzo ciemnych odcieniach i jakby pobłyskują pod odpowiednim kątem, jak jakiś brokat czy coś. xd Oczy mają białe i pozbawione źrenic. Tutaj, stara wersja Ylvy ma oczka czarne z czerwoną obwódką. Obecnie są białe, jak powinny być. No i jeszcze jest o wiele szczuplejsza i, emm "kanciasta", jak przystało na zmorę. Te te cieniste wstążeczki wokół niej pojawiły się pod wpływem działania jej duszy, kiedy robiła coś nie do końca legalnego... ale to wyleciało z historii, bo było badziewne. ;v

Kilka dodatkowych info na temat Ylvy i gatunków spektralnych ogólnie, bo mogę:
-W moim uniwersum istnieje pięć gatunków spektralnych: zmory, mary, kusy, czarnogłowi (lub psy noir) i vereve;
-Ylva nie jest czymś w stylu "wilczej zmory". Naturalnie zmory są gatunkiem samym w sobie i nie mają kształtów jak jakiś konkretny rodzaj istnienia, są jakby... taką "chmurą", co niby ma jakieś cechy charakterystyczne dla siebie, ale w większości to niewyraźne postacie, nieznacznie przypominające sylwetką człowieka. Ylva ma kształt wilka z pewnych powodów, ale nie chcę nic zdradzać, bo planuję to napisać w jakiejś powieści. xD Ewentualnie jak będę robić jakiś sheet gatunku to może wtedy wyjaśnię~
-Ogólnie gatunki spektralne nie mają płci fizycznej, a taki typowy podział społeczny czy psychiczny na kobietę czy mężczyznę też nie do końca u nich funkcjonuje. I tak pewnego dnia jedna dobra, internetowa koleżanka zapytała jakich zaimków używają inne istnienia, gdy rozmawiają z taką zmorą czy marą. I to wymusiło na mnie sporo myślenia. xD Ale ogólnie to wywnioskowałam, że skoro gatunki spektralne nie mają jako takiej płci fizycznej i psychicznej to nie do końca przejmują się tym, jak kto je określa (z resztą są dość wyrozumiali, bo wiedzą, że niektóre języki nie bardzo mają jakiś neutralny płciowo zaimek jak np: angielskie "they". xD), bo to nie jest dla nich miód wie jaka ważna kwestia. ;v W języku polskim zaimek daje się odpowiedni do końcówki imienia, jak w przypadku Ylvy. Ylva - kończy się na "a" więc jak typowo żeńskie imię, więc, według zasad fleksji, odmienia się jako imię żeńskie. W angielskiej wersji mogliby mówić "she" albo "they". Czasem używa się liczby mnogiej, np: "Ylva odezwali się", ale nie jest to takie popularne i zbędnie komplikuje. Koleżanka powiedziała, że akceptuje takie coś, więc git. xD

Napisałabym więcej, ale chcę zachować trochę na ten gatunkowy sheet. xD Kiedyś go zrobię~Matko, jaką ten rysunek ma małą rozdzielczość. xD
