Gosh i haven't been able to finish a piece of art for myself in quite some time. Although it was still a somewhat quick and rushed piece, i'm pretty happy with it.

First of all, Merry belated Christmas to everyone! As well as Happy New Year! I apologize that I've been so quiet these past few months, although it has been for good reason. As you might have noticed, my queue has been for the most part empty, and I haven't been posting at all for the past while, and this is because my commissions have been soft closed. I never made an announcement about it, but I simply finished my queue, and then didn't advertise for any more work. Since this account is small, I was able to go on for quite some time without anybody asking for commissions, so it worked out fairly well.

To put things simply, I got a new job back in September to try and suppliment my income, but recently this job became completely fulltime on me, which meant I was forced to give up on freelance for the time being. I don't think i'll ever be able to do commissions at the speed I used to with me consistently working 40+ hours every week, but i've been trying to squeeze the odd project here and there.

On top of that, my boyfriend and I have been searching for our first apartment, which is part of the reason why i've been so busy at my other job. Commission work has simply just never made me enough money, so I haven't been able to do it fulltime.
