Luna
I’ve had her for a while, I was originally using a version of her as a main character of the Beacon Hill series I kind of abandoned. Originally her name was Ana short for Anastasia but I want to go back to the name I originally planned for her Luna. I removed her mohawk in later commissions, I think I’ll reference that as an unspecified phase she went through. She’s a a love interest/friend for my fursona Rex.
She grew up in a village of lions on an off shore island with her parents. Her mother mostly stayed at home while her father worked as a fisher. She was a stronger swimmer at an early age, growing up she went on regular trips with her father and his crew, and soon joined them deep underwater.
Her Aunt from the mainland made regular visits, usually swimming the whole way in her diving equipment. When Ana first saw it, she was amazed by it and complained to her dad why they don’t use something like it instead of the dumb diving bell his crew uses. Her village is a bit behind on modern day technology, they regularly trade with the main land but usually only use technology that will improve their life style, and usually preferred traditional methods. While she loved her home, Ana grew up wanting to experience the main land, which her parents supported. When she turned 13, she began attending school on the main land while living with her aunt and returning home for the summer. When she graduated from high school at 18, she began attending a University having gotten in through a Swimming Scholarship. After getting her degree she got a part time position working with her Aunt’s Diving and Scavenging company. Which unfortunately is half in the ocean and half behind a desk during paper work. While she still enjoys the work, she’s still looking for other opportunities to explore.
