The pokemon known as Mew is one of the most reclusive of species, residing on the steep cliffs and rocky outcrops of remote mountain ranges. They carry their young in pouches until the infant - known colloquially as 'mewtwos' - are capable of making the astounding leaps and bounds necessary to traverse their parents' rocky home ranges.

Peaceful, gentle, and shy, they take well to captivity. Mews are incredibly intelligent and are capable of learning and performing a wide variety of battle techniques.
