
yeah... this is what I took those desk photo for... we're asked to build it in maya with 1200 triangles budget and I made this with 1192 triangles :D

Uhm, if this might be of any help you might want to delete faces that are hidden out of view (like maybe insides the printer, the little table in the foreground, the table stands, etc) to lower your polygon count even further. You could also try de-complicating the models of the PSP at the corner of the table and the faces that the chair legs were extruded out from. Reducing the Y-axis divisions for the stylus holder might also help.
Overall it looks pretty good for 1200. though the scene will look like something from Half-Life 1.

haha, the thing is I"ve already done everything you said XD but yeah, those psps aren't gonna look that impressive in silhouette mode, might need to resize it a bit too. I'll definitely see about the chair, the professor wants us to keep our model between 1190~1200 tri counts though, so I don't know if I should go and delete even more... >:T we'll seeeee.
