So! As last year, participated in an Art Secret Santa this year. Well... participated in two this year actually! Though gonna start off with the same group I did it with last year.

So this time round I got Light! Light didn't have any particular character requests - what they did specify however, was that they liked fancy lighting. As such... well, that was my goal.
Light has a buuunch of angel characters, so I really liked the idea of one of them being lit by only their halo. To give it a more Wintery theme, I thought adding some snow would be cool, especially with the light from the halo, and some street lamps would give the whole concept some more depth. From there I just had to choose a character and well... Izumi here has a cool design, and I felt his look would fit the melancholic tone!

I'm actually super happy with how this piece came out, and I think it was good practise for doing something slightly different in both lighting and shading!
