I've seen this floating around on various art sites, so I decided to pick it up and try it for myself. I don't often do stuff like this, so it was kind of neat to force myself to look back and choose my favorite finished piece from each month. I had some really good sketches in certain months, like December, but I wanted to keep this summary mostly about my finished works. I won't bore you with my thoughts on every piece presented here, but there are some notable things that I wanted to point out:

January: I draw Pokemon so very rarely, but ended up drawing a Scorbunny for  Kyledragon since he was developing a fondness for them. We were using this little guy in a tabletop game that we were playing together and I was pretty proud of my first real attempt at making a Scorbunny OC.

May: One of the 40-something Character Profile pictures that I have in the wings, finally finished. I'm way behind on finishing these and even more behind on posting them. Still, this was one of my favorites finally done of one of my longest-running characters.

June: Probably my favorite feet that I've ever drawn.

October: Inktober was incredible this year as I finally worked in purely physical medium for inking. It felt really satisfying. Doing this vase of flowers was oddly my favorite piece done that month. It's got a lot of layers of symbolism to it for my characters, and I'm really fond of the Keeton-branded vase ;)


There are some pictures here that I know many of you have never seen, so I hope you enjoy seeing some of that :) I hope that this year continues to be productive in spite of the challenges. Please wish me luck!
