Mdogo has swallowed entire dogs smaller than just the German shepherd's head. Just the same he manages that part easily enough.
The problem is, he's never eaten a dog THIS big. Has he stretched himself out enough with his various meals to stuff a dog at least twice his weight into his stomach?
He's going to try, that's for sure. he'll never manage a human if he doesn't keep testing himself.

I mean... that is actually what happens (sometimes) with certain fish and snakes, though admittedly, their prey is usually dead when it starts to go in... (and usually the process ends up killing them cuz the meat not being currently digested rots and then makes them sick, but their digestion is slow compared to mammals.)
It doesn't always kill them, but yes, that does happen. The best known cases are the deep sea fish that float to the surface as the decomposing prey bloats up. Birds have been known to have lizard or fish tails hanging out of their mouths until digestion makes room further in.
The Christmas magic helping gifted individuals with swallowing their christmas meals might fluke that test though ^^
Will we end up with an overconfident Mdogo afterward ? One that might try to down a meal too big during the year, once the christmas magic is not here anymore to help him ? :p
