This is the area known as Hannagan Pass. The road up is rough and bumpy, rutted and sometimes challenging for a small vehicle. Lucky for me that day however, I was with a friend in a lifted adventure van that they are working on upgrading. Made the adventure quite an experience!!!.

twas a bleak, stormy rainy day. The week prior the trail had washed out quite thoroughly, but the area was passable for a trail. The campground wasn't so lucky.

Its so stark with the verticality, I'm sure a star lit sky would look amazing there. Mucky puddle jumping in the campground were ya tehe
