Yet another oblivious donkey transformation.
Yes, I am parodizing my own work. Figured there were already enough of these sorts of things circulating around, but lo and behold, there will never be enough. What started as a silly, somewhat mature folklore story to scare kids into behaving turned into a whole fanbase where folks actually appreciated the punishment as an art form.
I'm not even surprised. That's the power of adaptation. I mean, dragons were originally conceived to be the scariest, deadliest, and evillest possible being imaginable, and now they're evolved to being more friendly and loyal than dogs. Cthulhu, meticulously designed to an eldrich nightmare, a term that had to be literally created just to describe its unspeakable horror, can be found as an adorable plush.
Seems that the real message is this; humans can get over their fears, no matter how terrible they are. No matter how real, or fictional, or designed they are, people adapt, and they can see happiness in any sort of situation. Even in being obliviously turned into donkeys.
So don't worry about it. You got this!
