My first artwork of 2022; a snippet of a scene from a future webcomic I’m planning! I have so many ideas already that I’m certain I’ll keep as these events are important to the story, such as the one depicted here.
Without spoiling too much, at some point prior to Jackson’s first winter, he is exiled from the Chattanack Region’s Eastern Herd of white-tailed deer which his mother, Abigail, belongs to. Of course, Abigail loves her son too much, and thus exiles herself with him under the condition that, should she ever wish to return to the herd’s territory, Jackson cannot return with her. Abigail’s decision to leave her herd weighs heavy on Jackson’s conscience, as he feels as though he has ruined both their lives as a result of his very existence.

While I still have lots of planning to do before I even dare to post a cover for this webcomic I’m cookin’ up, I’ll still draw and post more scenes like this one here and there.
