In response to my recent journal entery, I decided to try to draw an animal very unpopular to the furry kingdom. I picked a beroe (pronounced ba-ROW-ee). It was definitely triggered by Vera's mention of bioluminescents.
I love all Ctenophores (don't pronounce the C), the jelly family! But the beroe is probably the easiest ctenophore to humanify as it has a big, hook lined mouth! It is a predator and eats all the other jellies.
This was fun and I suggest other people try to draw other, more under drawn animals!

ha ha. I didn't mean to sound like a pbs special or anything, it's just that i hate it when people talk about things that are probably not well known by the general public as if it is common knowledge. I think it can come across as really arrogant, like 'i know more than you and if you DON'T know what I'm talking about then you are stupid'.
