Here is the start to my Charizard plushie...
it is not complete.. and yes.. it is somewhat messy and crude.. it is just my prototype.. EVENTUALLY when I have the time/patience I will use this design to make a nice/durable one...
no arms or head or toenails yet.. but I think the shape is coming along nicely..

I think it really looks good, being that it is a rough prototype.
The head in itself will keep you occupied for several hours if not days, since the expression will be most crucial.
Things seem to be in place, though even for a raw sample, I do think the wings are a bit on the small side for Charizard.

probably.. but for my wings that is about average... I dont have huge ones

but yes for a regular zard the wings would be a bit on the small side..
I was planning on going with a pretty simple head..not sure how long it will take but I am assuming the same as or more than the entire body put together...
Once this is done I will use my patterns I am making with the prototype (freehand cutting and sewing right now) and actually slowly take days to cut the material and sew it correctly
